Check Battery Levels
REQUIRED TOOLS / ACCESSORIES:

PROCEDURE:
1. Lock lock by pressing
+ 4 - 7 digit code +
a. If a two-tone beep is heard and the LED flashes, the batteries do not need to be replaced. b. If two sets of (3) beeps are heard, the battery level is low, and the batteries need to be replaced. i. After confirming the battery levels are low, follow the Replace Batteries in Lock process below.
Note: It is recommended to check battery levels every 6 months to ensure that all locks remain functional.
Replace Batteries in Lock
REQUIRED TOOLS / ACCESSORIES:
• Phillips Head Screwdriver
• Black Manager Key (If Applicable)
PROCEDURE:
1. Identify locker cubby with lock that needs batteries to be replaced.
2. Open door of locker cubby, so that the back of the lock can be accessed.
a. If lock is locked, use the User Code or Black Manager Key to unlock the lock.
b. If lock is dead, use a Black Manager Key to provide power to the lock to unlock it.
i. Note: Black Manager Key may need to be inserted into lock for up to 45 seconds to provide enough power to operate the lock.
3. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to unscrew (2) screws from the battery cover on the back of the lock. 4. Remove the (4) existing batteries and dispose of them properly.
5. Place (4) new premium AAA batteries in the correct orientation as noted in the battery encasement. 6. Place battery cover on the back of the lock.
7. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to secure the (2) screws into the battery cover on the back of the lock.
Replace Batteries in Key
REQUIRED TOOLS / ACCESSORIES: • #1 Size Phillips Head Screwdriver
PROCEDURE:
1. Collect key(s) that need batteries to be re
2. Use a #1 size Phillips head screwdriver to unscrew (2) screws from the battery cover on the bottom of the key. 3. Remove the battery cover.
4. Remove the (4) existing batteries and dispose of them properly.
5. Place (4) new premium AAA batteries in the correct orientation as noted in the battery encasement. 6. Place battery cover back on the key.
7. Use a #1 size Phillips head screwdriver to secure the (2) screws into the battery cover on the bottom of the key.
